Swap Trade Reporting Solution

The derivative market, especially the OTC derivate space is going through a major makeover since the enactment of Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act 2010. With that the particular Title VII which mandates execution of swap trade on a regulated exchange, centralized clearing and real time reporting of cleared and non-cleared swaps by the market participants to a swap data repository has had the biggest impact on OTC trade processing and reporting. As the timeline of Dodd Frank is drawing nearer, we at Majoris have solutions that provide all market participants with the ability to comply with the trade reporting requirements under the US Dodd-Frank framework and EU’s European Market Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR), offering a single point of connection for post-trade reporting of foreign exchange, interest-rate and credit default swap trades. Our solutions for STRS addresses three major issue faced by financial institutions involved with OTC derivative transctions – huge trade volumes involving various asset classes; Building new methods of Financial Messaging using FixML, SWIFT and FpML for trade submission to Swap Data Repository and regular reporting for operational and regulatory needs.

To meet the regulatory requirements relating to Title VII we have follow a threefold framework to implement our Swap Trade Reporting Solutions –

  • Messaging gateways: We help client build messaging gateways and facilitate trade submissions through MQ and messages to market utilities like SEFs, DCO, DCM and SDRs. Further we can partner with the client to provide infrastructure and implement connectivity applications between participant systems and data repositories ensuring data flow covering regulatory compliant submission.
  • Connecting with data providers worldwide: Our system enable connections with Data Providers by leveraging standard APIs and enable end-to-end reference data management for consistent, accurate, reliable and complete information of financial instruments.
  • Reporting: Our frame work enables customized and timely reporting as defined by the client for improving operational efficiencies, decision making and to follow regulatory norms.
